Yeah I read this on IMDB

"QUESTION. To the people that think the movie is overrated: when did you first see the movie?

If you seen the movie for the first time rescently it's not gonna have the same impact as if you saw it for the first time. Because QT has been copied so many time over since his originality has been disminished. But if you saw it back in 94 when it came out it was completely original."

Makes a lot of sense. I don't know, I'll watch it again in a few days to see if my opinion changes at all, but I think all the hype+Tarantino being copied=a movie that isn't as good as I thought it would be.

My DVD collection:Goodfellas, American History X, Casino, Waterboy, Reservoir Dogs, Scarface, Tupac:Resurrection.

I don't know about you, but I think you would have to find a complete moron and/or a blind person to tell you that all of those movies suck(with the exception of The Waterboy, that was a gift)...

Tupac:Resurrection ???

are you serious, OH you are 15 years old, nevermind.

So have you really never watched this movie until now or did you just wait 10 years to post about it? Did it never bother you that half the time someone quoted a movie you had no idea what they were talking about?

[/ QUOTE ]
My friends don't really quote movies too often. Besides, I was 5 when this film came out.

Yeah, I'm a Tupac fan. Wasn't a bad movie(wasn't really a movie, but wasn't a documentary either). I thought it was cool seeing a lot of his old interviews and what not.

Edit-I'm 16, but yeah, whatever.

Like half of the movie is centered around that goofy glowing briefcase, and you don't even find out what is in it.

This quote was what sealed the deal for me.

BTW - You need more movies. And The Waterboy was pretty funny, so you don't need to pretend you didn't like it.

Yeah, I do need more movies. Quality over quantity is definitely how I feel about movies though. I'm not trying to pretend that I didn't like the Waterboy, it just isn't up to par with the rest of my DVD's. I forgot, I also have Tommyboy, which is another really funny movie.

If you don't like Pulp Fiction that's fine with me. I think it's a great movie but there's plenty of people who share you view as well. Watching the movie a second time probably won't change your opinion but who knows. There's some movies I can just watch over and over and not get tired of them.

BTW have you seen Kill Bill and if so what did you think of it?
