QQ against a lag.. 10/20 hand

edited to correct the mp3's pf aggression is 3.7, not 1.7.

been running really well at 3/6 and 5/10 so i gave myself a 50bb shot at 10/20. stats on mp3 are 55/5/3.7 and KJ/QJs is definately in his cold calling range. no real stats on the other players.

I kind of like checking to induce a bluff/save a bet against a king/etc...

The problem is the board has gotten so scary many of the hands we beat no longer will want to have anything to do with this. Since I don't like folding to raises against lags, and don't like having to put in two bets here, I like checking. Checking also allows a missed spade draw a chance to bet.

Against a more passive opponent I prefer betting. They'll check behind all the hands that we're beating and we can fold much more easily to a raise against them.

His agression makes me want to just c/c since he'll bluff a ton of hands we beat. I don't think he would raise the flop w/QJ, maybe KJ maybe AJ would get you in trouble but they are less likely then AQ AT QT, so I think YHIG. I like c/c here.

why wouldn't he raise the flop with QJ or JT? He's obviously a very bad player that would definitely cold call with these hands. His AF is pretty high. Its going too far to say with any confidence that villain doesn't have a jack.

I'd bet and call. You'll see two pair here and worse plenty.
