the truth is I wasn't the military type at all. I did fine, never got in much trouble and moved up nicely (mostly because there are alot of people who can't really follow directions) but it wasn't a good fit. I got depressed a lot not from that but because it's not a thinking man's profession at least at the lower enlisted level. strange times. I met a few really cool guys though which made it better.

that's a horrible story and i am very open minded...and in the army as well...i'm kind of hoping that story isn't true.

As someone who's served, I saw my fair share of complete psychopaths, fake homosexuals, and all kinds of assorted nutjobs, and I would say without a doubt that [censored] didnt cause him to kill himself.

As someone who survived basic training after my gf sent a picture of me and her going at it, which was then blown up and framed in my barracks, take it from me, he could have lived that down.

Yeah we sort of felt this way as well somewhat. Not the having our backs part as it just wasn't something we worried about but he was into child porn and those were actual polaroid pics not something from a magazine. plus scene 1 & 2 were pretty creepy as well. Basically we decided we wasn't the best person.

Brian took it the hardest probably because he was the oldest at 23 and was married. I was 19 and McClain was probably 20.
