Default Computer question, PDA\'s

I'm looking to buy a PDA for work. Does anyone have any suggestions or any must have features? Price isn't a real big deal but I would like to keep it under 500 bucks if possible. If I was able to play on-line poker and/or trade stocks would be a real plus. Thanks for any help!

I think you are probably out of luck in terms of playing poker. I don't know if the latest browsers for PDA support Java Applets or not. You might want to contact PokerRoom or other site that has non download java applet clients.

As far as some decisions you need to make.

1. Pick the OS you want. Microsoft or Palm?
2. What is the most important feature? Bright high res screen? (some of the palm OS based PDA have much higher res screen than MS OS ones) Blooth communication? Built in wi-fi?
3. Allow part of your budget to go toward needed accessories and software. Some examples are, SD memory card, carrying case. poken quicken, etc.

It is no longer called Window's CE, latest of MS OS for PDA is "Windows Mobile 2003."

I own a iPaq with runs of Windows Mobile 2002. I don't have a whole lot to complain about.

But than, I've never owned a palm os based device. I know people who swear by them and assert that they are superior os than the MS OS.

Thank's for the Help. I Think I'm going to try and get one with a GPS built in. I guess I'll be up to 700-1000 before I'm done.
