PS $150 hand vs. The Grinder

Not trying to be too results oriented or tell a bad beat story, but does anyone play this different to avoid the "unfortunate" result. For example, reraise preflop or push his raise post flop. (Edit: I'm well aware that calling the all in bet was awful. I give the reason I did it in a following post. More focused on the play prior to that.) Grinder is obviously a fabulous player but I saw him get his money in 3 or 4 times as a huge, obvious dog and win them all.

I happened to catch this hand because I was watching someone else at your table, but why call the allin? In this case Grinder was bluffing but more often than not I would expect you to be drawing to 3 outs. Just because he didn't have it this time doesn't make the call right.

And yes, Grinder did get INCREDIBLY lucky many many times. I don't think I've ever had a streak of luck like that in an hour of play, ever. Just boggles my mind.

Agreed, 19 times out of 20 I fold, but Grinder had seemed to be pushing draws and medium hands and calling with good ones. Because of that I felt that I was ahead and went with the read. In hindsight I probably should have gone with my normal play instead of going with the gut that just happened to be correct.

Actually I would say your repop to 1K is questionable as well. I am likely calling or folding after the c/r.

Just saw Grinder catch another 3 outer calling a button push with KQ v QT in the BB. he's untouchable tonight
