Re: decent price for this dell?
wwwaaaaayy over kill for poker. hell, you can run the latest bleeding edge games with almost all the bell and whistles on with that config.
any computer above a pentium 3 will work for poker. just buy any el-cheapo computer for $350 or less. oh wait.. i see a 2001fp. wait till that is $399 or lower. |

Looks okay, you could probably save a few bucks, but not bad.

Re: decent price for this dell?
what the hell are you talking about? this thing has 512mbs. some specs might be somewhat overkill, but as a whole this machine is DEFINITELY not.

Re: decent price for this dell?
In total I didn't pay much more than that for an 8400 with 1 gig of memory and a processor upgrade along with a 2001 fp that I purcahsed seperately. It's not that bad a deal but I'd wait it out if I were you.

Re: decent price for this dell?
I just built someone a computer today...It was $560 for a 2600+ Sempron, 1 GB of DDR400 the best non-cutting edge motherboard out there (NVIDIA chipset) a decent 128MB video card with dual video out, an 80GB hard drive with an 8MB cache, CDRW, etc....you're getting *owned*..The one i suggest would run poker/PT just great
