I think once you lose CO on the turn, you should probably raise the turn .

I corrected your post. The Entity post you referred to still had that caller along for the ride. No one else to string along in this hand, start collecting extra bets/find out if you are beat/charge for the suckout.

Who else would raise the flop? I don't like that play at all. Poster seems to like his hand a lot, but a pair of 8s won't bet if you raise the flop and bet the turn. However, you give them 11:1 odds to call your raise. I wait until the turn.

I'd say bet the turn. With a low flop like this, it probably missed most people. Otherwise, maybe MP1 has Q8 and is betting top pair. Even K8 or A8 still doesn't beat your TPTK. No point in making it cheap for them to draw a river card to a hand that could beat you.

When it seems like you've got the best hand, I'm a believer in making your opponents prove otherwise. A cheap or free draw opens risk to you.

What you guys seem to forget is that you don't know the king is coming on the turn. I bet this flop to attempt to take this pot on the flop. When the king comes you can either bet out or raise if bet into. But with the mainly ragged flop I take a stab at it. maybe I'm wrong.
