I dont like your line with hand 1. What I like to do is check to him to get him to bluff, then raise really big. This lets the whole table know you arent to be messed with, and protects your hand.

Hand 2 I like your play! You have top pair, dont let them get away PUSH!!

I ended up folding in hand one because I've been taking a beating early on trying to play too much "poker" with guys who aren't quite reading into it as much as me. Thanks for the input.

I've started to experiment with limping AK from various positions because I've found that continuation style bets have lost me lots of money. If I miss, I'm out. If I hit, well, then my hand is disguised.

Problem is, AK plays way better heads up or against two callers than against a field of limpers. Sure, your hand is disguised, but so is the BB's 92 that flopped two pair and is going to own your chips.

Always raise AK preflop in the 22's. It's much harder to play it postflop after not having raised for as much profit as you make raising preflop.
