Re: 1,000% Sign Up Bonus and $12/ per hour per table
went out 19th. missed a big draw on one hand, got outdrawn on another. ah well, was fun. noticed that there's only about 5 people playing holdem at the cash tables right now. looks like a pretty decent site

Re: 1,000% Sign Up Bonus and $12/ per hour per table
The payout on the deposit bonus seems freakishly similiar to Full Tilt's bonus. Am I right on this or way off?

Re: 1,000% Sign Up Bonus and $12/ per hour per table
I went and did the checking for myself. In case anyone else cares:
[ QUOTE ] a) can I deposit and play poker and backgammon with the same money? [/ QUOTE ] Kinda-sorta. [ QUOTE ] b) can I clear the bonus at backgammon? [/ QUOTE ] Doesn't look like it. |

Re: 1,000% Sign Up Bonus and $12/ per hour per table
I must be doing the math wrong. Somebody help.
Let's say I plan to play at the 1/2 tables. The minimum qualifying rake is .50, which earns .25 points. I didn't see a rake schedule anywhere, but let's assume it's 5%, so the pot would have to reach $10 to have a rake of .50. How often does this happen at 1/2? I normally play .50/1, so I'm just guessing that it's about 1/3 of the time. Is this a reasonable estimate? If so... -- It takes 3 hands to earn a raked hand. -- It takes 4 raked hands to earn a point. -- It takes 5 points to earn $1. So to clear the $5000 bonus, it would take 3 x 4 x 5 x 5000 = 300,000 hands? Also, has anyone checked to see what the withdrawal requirements are? Might you have to wait until the year is up before you can withdraw? |

Re: 1,000% Sign Up Bonus and $12/ per hour per table
Guess its on 0,5/1 around 150 000 hands to clear the 5K. Time to play 625 hours / 4 tables, added 625 hours a 6$ (VFP). So it is 8750$ for 625 hours work.....not sooooo bad.
But on other sites u get also for 100 000 raked hands 0,5/1 10 000$ (100 hands/10$) I know the site from backgammon....it was trustworthy Wolfgang |

So to clear the $5000 bonus, it would take 3 x 4 x 5 x 5000 = 300,000 hands? [/ QUOTE ] Indeed, it would be very silly to try to clear this whole bonus at 1/2. Assuming their rake is similar to other sites', I'd guess it's about 10x at 2/4, and 8x at 3/6. The extra $12/hr from VFP is a nice plus, and fortunately you don't have to clear the whole bonus. I think it will be worthwhile for me if they ever get regular 3/6 and 5/10 games going, but I'm sure it's a waste of time for anyone playing 1/2 and below. |

What are you high? .50 cents would be raked at $5 and $1 should be a capped rake. What 1/2 games are you playing that dont average AT LEAST $8 a hand? over 8 hands of 10 are raked on 1/2 anywhere. So I really have no idea what you are talking about and where you got those retarded numbers. |

But it's still going to be about 15x at 1/2, which isn't competitive. Even worse if they don't use the Party rake schedule. |
