I am quite use to jealousee. I understand that those of lower stations don't know proper grammer or spelling. Otherwise this is a well thawt out and articulated musing from a peasant.

Your only concern is that peasants musing muzes such as you have find themselves in my dungeon. Are you sure you didn't mean to say "Punk is our light."?

teach the boy.

looks like the .net tv commercials are going to be allowed, and that will lead to another level that we never thought possible. it is predicted that the .net sites will eventually have over 2 million free gamers. many of them will dabble in the real thing eventually, making party's 50k online look like a clubhouse game.

[/ QUOTE ]

Could you explain what the .net tv commercials are?

Media outlets have been getting harassed by the Justice Department for advertising gaming sites. To get around this, they have started running commericals adverising the Play-Money feature saying "Learn to Play Poker" or "Play for Free at PartyPoker.net".

Seriously, how can you compare anything as far as hits go to porn? Porn drove the videotape business and the expansion of the internet, and probably even had an effect on the computer manufacturing and broadband businesses. Comoparing the importance of anything on the net to porn is like wondering if oxygen is still popular.

I believe the answer to be yes and the time frame to be soon. Unfortunately the number one risk factor in this industry is government.

Combine the reputation of gambling and the oodles and oodles of money that sites such as Party are making and things are destined to change. I'm not sure how they will change but I'm willing to bet that the industry as a whole will suffer greatly and once that happens the fish will leave becasue the fad will have died off and all that will be left is a bunch of die hard Poker players.

One poster did mention it though. Reduced rake is the single biggest thing that we as players should wish/hope/lobby for. It would just take one single good company to put up a well run site that had the initial capitol to advertise on T.V. and Party would have to react in some fashion.
