Default God I Really Friggin Hate Flopping Sets

Final Pot: 15.50 BB

This has been happening so often that I called out QT on the turn. Why did I call the turn cap and the river bet?

Because you have a fantastic hand.

If you flop a set and lose, you -should- lose a large amount of bets.

When MP1 shows a straight, I'm happy I didn't lose more. Folding is out of the question in this hand (and the last hand you posted).

Because he might be betting two pair?

You called the turn because of the full house odds. As for why you called the river bet, that's somewhat questionable. If he's been this aggressive with 2-pair I see no problem with it, but if you know he's a decent player, or at least he doesn't go to showdown, or cap much, then I think you can lay it down when a blank hits the river.

youre not really thinking about folding this are you? youve got to stay in, just in case its 2 pair or something. these huge odds situations are what make you money in the long run.

This makes me cringe. Folding is just not an option in my mind.

My "why did I call" question was rhetorical. I never once considered folding in any of these set hands that I've been posting. The pots were too big not to call one more river bet on the chance MHIG and these guys were morons.

I said it because I sort of wanted to hear people say "you had the odds." Strangely, some people suggest laying down. This might be a good laydown at a 15/30 table (CDC and Nate might favor it), but at this bullcrap limit, you've gotta call.

Anyway, I posted these to see if the consensus was to slow down earlier or later, or if I went into calldown at the right time.
