Default we don\'t need no thought control

UTG's turn 3 bet is something I rarely do. I just call and hope I hit my flush. If he is going to call any river card it costs the same amount when his opponents react like me. If the flush comes in he might extract one extra bet.

Should I be playing more like him? Or should he just call the turn and fold the river unimproved, thus saving himself a bet?

Of course his other option is not to bet the turn in the first place just because he has the nut flush draw and doesn't want to get checkraised.

As an aside just because of that I probably should have checkraised the flop and not waited till the turn.

Also given the 4 card straight on the river and me checking it to him, should he be betting as a bluff?

So final question: how badly was this hand misplayed?

I think his turn line is a bit much. You need to bet that flop or CR. I think leading is superior though, check/calling is horrible.
