Default rakeback (I know nothing)

I've been playing onlline four-tabling $3-$6 part-time. I get in about 10,000-15,000 hands a month. I've read the no-affiliate thing, but since I know nothing about rakeback, I don't know if I'm crossing the line or not. If I do, somebody please tell me. I've basically got two questions:

1. Does someone have a link to a post that explains exactly how rakeback works (in the simplest terms)?

2. For someone who plays 10,000-15,000 hands a month, is rakeback worth considering.

Please don't call out any affiliates/rakeback sites by name. Thanks, and I'm truly sorry if I crossed the line.

What site do you play on? PM me if you want the names of some decent affiliates.

?1. I dont have a link, but here goes. When you sign up to a site (lets say party poker) you usually sign up through an affiliate(you may not know you are, but you are). That affiliate recieves either a flat fee (booo), or a % of the rake you generate. Some affiliates will offer you a % back to you of what they recieve. This can add up quickly.

#2 Rake back is worth considering if you played a few hundred hands a week at $.50-$1...so yea, at $3-$6 it is definatly worth doing (several hundred dollars a month back to you worth doing)

It is worth considering if you would like an extra $600 a month. Check the classifieds.

Thanks for the simple explanation. That's exactly what I was looking for.
