Default i think i made a bad fold...

Bet the flop.

Bet the turn.

Just call the river raise.

i felt that i was dominating on the flop so i didnt need to bet... but should have bet the turn (obviously)

you have to bet that flop to see where you stand. Chances are, you're ahead at this point and he folds. As you played it, I think he has you beat, and so the fold is not so bad. A 4-bet is pretty indicative of the nut flush here, I would assume. So, the correct play here is to make a pot sized bet on the flop and give him incorrect odds to draw to his flush.

Also, as you played it, maybe just call his first raise on the river so that you don't get yourself into this situation.

You have top pair on a two flush board...you aren't anywhere close to dominating. You HAVE to bet. I'd probably check behind once the flush hits on the turn and call the river bet.
