Default Market Volatility

Is there a general measure of volatility for certain individual stocks other than beta? Does anyone have a list of 5 or 10 stocks with high 3 year volatility relative to the market index that they'd be willing to share for a small study I'm doing? thanks for any replies...

Default Re: Market Volatility

You might be able to make use of implied volatility or historical volatility, which play a role in the pricing of options.
