I've heard rumors about bots at pacific too. If they do indeed exists I either haven't found any or they suck as bad as regular Pacific players. I play there to clear bonus' because you can only play one table at a time but it's sooooo soft.

You should worry about poker bots about as much as you should worry about a tornado hitting your house tonight. Sure it might happen... but don't lose sleep over it.

As others have pointed out, you should be concerned about how well the other players at a table play, not whether they are bots or not. If my opponents play badly, why do I care? If they play well, I will get up and find another table. If you can't find good tables at Pacific, go elsewhere. If you can, then you're pretty much answering your own question.

I would be afraid of bots, though the chances they use bots is slim. Instead, I would be scared to play at fulltilt poker, where you may not get paid!!!

I posted something about Pacific yesterday (titled "Table Balancers"). I wasn't specifically talking about bots, but rather player that are constantly shuffling from full tables to emptier ones (instantaneously moving, I might add). It really bugs me because I prefer a full table, which is virtually impossible in Omaha Hi on Pacific.

Maybe they were bots, I have no idea. Their playing habits didn't really bother me, just the fact that you can't sit at a table with more than 6 people without the "rebalancing" kicks in.
