I think that I would fold the turn here many of your outs are likely contaminated, and your hand has no showdown value. The way you played it I would bet the river as ace high may call you here but will usually check behind. Sometimes I will go for a river cr if this opponent keeps betting with any pair or ace high on the river.

Might as well start somewhere. Why did you not fold the flop after you were raised? not a criticism, but more a question.

Hero has a gutshot + 2 overs, hitting any of which will probably win him the pot.

Hero bets out on river and calls a raise. If he's got a lower pair he could easily let this check through.

These situations make me queasy as I typically get too results-oriented, but I would bet and call a raise.

Does anyone else fold the turn here? It was pretty close in my mind.

If your hand is worth 6 outs on the turn, the you aren't getting enough odds to call, are you?

Is your hand worth 6 outs on the turn?

It's within one percent. (Which I think you already knew) Which means it's close, like I said. It's even more close when you consider the nasty situation of being raised on the river, which is a distinct possibility.

Right, the implied odds and the chance that it would get raised was where my question was coming from.

Actually I was also very curious about the value of the hand, since I suck at SH play.
