Default Is this fold as easy as I think it is?

Hi all, haven't posted in a while. In an attempt to get into some discussion here, this is a hand a friend of mine and I disagreed on:

Reads: Seems to be a generally fishy table, though I haven't been here long, and others are popping in and out.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, Hero raises, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (3 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero folds, SB calls.

The subject says it all, I believe this wasn't a hard fold after I checked the flop. I suppose that is debatable as well, but given the action of previous hands, I wanted to be putting in bets when I had some sort of hand, as calls were very likely. On the turn, the pot is small, there are two overs, and even if I improve with a J, I don't like it, as that makes a one card straight. My gutshot probably gives me something more than 4 outs due to implied odds, but since i'm only getting 3-1, that doesn't really matter. Right?

I'd bet the flop. They could be calling out of the blinds with anything.

After you didn't do that I think I would fold the turn.

You should definitely bet this Flop. Hereīs why.
You shown strength Preflop and you only get called by the blinds, which means that they could have pretty much anything since its party 2-4.

If you bet the flop there is a good chance that you could win the pot right there, which is good.

If you get called you very well still could have the best hand since they could be on a gutshot draw. Now granted itīs likely that they could be on a gutshot draw at the same time they have a higher pair. TQ,TK,JQ,JK and even TA and JA is definitely possibly but since itīs party I wouldnīt worry unless they start to show some strength...

If itīs reraised to you I would go for the reraise all the time. Itīs very unlikely that he has TJ as most PP would wait until the turn to checkraise you.
And if you are behind your raise could give you a free River card which you want.

On a side note, If you bet the Flop and get called down by both and then itīs checked to you on the Turn, Do you bet out again or do you take the free card?

I'd bet the turn, depending on how tricky the opponents are
