Default So what is he thinking? (a JJ hand)

The fish with 55, can you get inside of his head? Why would he stay to the bitter end?

Because he, like most players, is not very good at poker?

Maybe someone switched his fold and call buttons.

The fish with 55

Answered! I win!

Honestly, it's hard to say.. maybe he's just hoping to catch a set there and when the river came he figured he was in it this far, might as well see it for another $1.

Ya, we all know that. But what is he thinking as the hand develops? "My 5's might be good in case he's bluffing." Or, "The 3rd five might show up and I'll win."

Preflop: I have 55, maybe I'll flop a set.

Flop: Noone's raised it, I guess .50 is OK to see if I can still pull a 5 and beat.... 92o? (this is where my comprehension of his thinking process breaks down).

Turn: Noone's raised it, I guess 1.00.... blah blah

River: I read that one sentence somewhere that says don't fold in a big pot. OK call!

Probably because once he folded a pair of 5's, and the turn and the river were both 5's and he swore 'I'm never folding 5's again'.

KO

Preflop: Nice 55 and I can see the flop cheap. WTF why would anyone raise when they are the big blind?? I never raise the bb it is much more important to hide the strenght of my hand this joker is trying to bluff us all!!

Flop: Dam no trips for me I have to much money in the pot to fold for .5 and when that 5 comes I will rock these clowns.

Turn: Yipes that was close why couldnt that have been a 5. If I fold now and a 5 comes I will never forgive myself. It's only $1 chump change to a stud like me.

River: Boy I am unlucky today I normally hit trips by the river 90% of the time. Look at that jerk in the BB still bluffing yesh. ROFL that guy to my right fell for it and folded. Nothing I like better than making someone look stupid. They never fold on the river on TV. Plus this guy in the BB has been winning to often he must bluff alot everyone has been folding to him but now he ran into a real man.
