My bankroll is curious about the $55s
Well, my bankroll is curious about the next step. I don't see much information about the $55s or hear much talk. Is there any room for discussion. Adjustments that occur from the $33s to $55s?

Re: My bankroll is curious about the $55s
Hmm $3000 sounds a bit excessive..54 buyins..
Although I know the 30 buyin rule is bogus now, because I just dropped 35 buyins.. That's after 450 SNGs with 34% ROI.. yes.. a 35 buyin losing streak. (this is at the 50s btw) So don't go in with just 30 buyins! At any level! Unless your ROI is just ridiculously high. |

Re: My bankroll is curious about the $55s
54 is NOT excessive. i had a 50 buyin swing at the 55s a couple months ago. it sucks. 3k+ is a must for a serious 55 multitabler. holla

Re: My bankroll is curious about the $55s
Its a different game. First more chips to begin, because of this from my experience its been a tighter game. Which is good since you can actually make some moves and have people play correctly and fold. Tell you the truth, i dont think it is worth it. Its a longer tourney with touigher comp where blinds play a much bigger factor. If you wanna improve your game do it , but i think the 20+2 and 30+3 are the most profitable tourenys since there is such piss poor play. You can almost just wait until you get a hand and win them.

Re: My bankroll is curious about the $55s
For the move up you don't need that much. If you are a winning player and have 30 buyins, chances are you'll make much more than that before experiencing a drop of 30+.
You don't need much at all if you're willing to drop back down when necessary. |

Re: My bankroll is curious about the $55s
I worked my bankroll up quite a bit by just going in more expensive games and winning. If you're a really good player, you should just go for it!

I would be very comfortable with that bankroll and buy in but my situation is different, I would say go to the $6 for now but becuase of the rake and similar play I don't think sticking around is that bad. |
