Halo 2 and televised poker events

Lol the keyboard is so much better for doing anything else. WASD etc for movement plus the mouse makes it uber. Plus I have every weapon bound to a key so I am very quick in switching, dont have to scroll through or anything like that. With a controller you have to take you finger off one button to hit another etc and you can never be as quick to get to everyweapon. You could shout out a weapon and I could go to it instantly. For a controller i doubt with so many weapons you have enough buttons for all of those plus crouch, jump, etc. It's just more efficent. But I mean if I am playing on a console on a couch then who would use a keyboard on their lap? You need a desk.

In referrance to my 5v5 I would play with a couple live friends and some online people, you get to meet some cool guys playing online and we would use IRC and team chat software for playing in matches, it's way too hard to type while playing seriously. You can bind certain messages but that isnt enough.

If you were a real gamer, you could be playing Half-Life 2 or Quake IV on your PC for the next televised poker seasons, so you could do both at once. FPS with a controller and not mouse/keyboard? It's an abomination!

I havent finished the campaign(fun) but the multiplayer looks good so far.

conservatively this game is a 9/10 (from my limited experience it is 9.5/10.0 due to some design decisions with the weapons)

I need to play many more hours before I can come up with a adequate acessment of the game's strengths and weaknesses.
