Default KK vs AA on Pokerstars $50 NL

Hi I've been reading through these boards from time to time and finally decided to register myself. I usually play SNG's on PS but am trying to learn limit hold'em too. I usually play small stakes limit to clear bonuses on Party and Empire and sometimes $25 and $50 NL.

This is my first post.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) converter

UTG+1 ($20.90)
MP1 ($126.95)
MP2 ($33.70)
CO ($39.75)
Button ($58)
SB ($23.20)
BB ($8.55)
Hero ($50.40)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $5.5</font>, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, Hero calls $3.50.

Flop: ($11.75) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets $7.5</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $15</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $121.45</font>, Hero calls $29.90 (All-In).

Turn: ($178.10) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

River: ($178.10) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $178.10
<font color="#009B00">Main Pot: $101.55, between MP1 and Hero.</font> &gt; <font color="#FFFFFF">Pot won by MP1 ($101.55).</font>
<font color="#009B00">Pot 2: $76.55, returned to MP1.</font>

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has Kh Kc (one pair, kings).
MP1 has As Ac (one pair, aces).
Outcome: MP1 wins $178.10. </font>

Did I play this right? Is there any way I could have gotten away from this hand? Any advices, comments, criticisms welcome. Thanks a lot in advance

The idea of calling and then check/raising on the flop is very good. However, make your raise bigger to fully commit yourself. Raise to about 25. Then get the rest in ASAP.

So he had aces. It happens, don't worry about it and don't consider folding on this board. Your line is very +EV for 50NL.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. He'll probably play QQ and JJ the same way, and maybe even AT. I see a lot of people do that w/ TPTK in low limit games (in SNG tourneys anyway)
Thanks. I'll keep doing that except I'll increase the checkraise amount
