Well, I figured it was worth the call for 60 since I could expect to get his entire stack if I flopped a set, which I did. Just didn't work out. oh well. better than finishing on the button like i did two weeks ago.

thanks for the heads-up. i know ted is a monster, luckily he was shortstacked. they just moved me to table 1 where i dont recognize anyone, which is good.

when i wrote that ted was short stacked he had 375 chips. i see he now has over 12000.
the guy is a machine.

Still kicking with 92 left. Would have been at 10K, but AJ sucked out my AQ.

Otoh, I took down AA w/KK earlier, so I'm not really complaining.

Otooh, my AA lost to KK in the $100 event (which I am now out of), so maybe I am.

Anyway, 4500 chips left with blinds at 200/400...and now 89 left.

out in 85th, came over top the of a big stack with AKs, and he called with TT. A and a T came.

Oh. You were on my table. Didn't realize you were 2+2. The player 'wilsaf' seemed quite mystified by your play "so close to the money". You did the right thing of course.

Lost JJ to K9s (all in preflop) to go down to ~2K. Then took JJ up against AK and flopped a J to double up to 4200. Break now, then the hand-for-hand march of death. I will be the button when play continues, so that's good news anyway...

w00t. First hand after the break I get AA. Get 2 players all in (one I outchipped by a little). At 13K now. Wicked sweet awsome.

Yeah I never play for 70th place, trying to get a big stack to make a run. Big Triple up right there with AA.

cfere, im new here and in SF (north beach) too! i saw your AA hand. let's meet up at table one and go heads up in a while! im waiting there now.
