But yea, the school is partly to blame.

Usually I'm in the camp for putting the blame on the parents, as I think they don't get enough blame now a days. In this case I think the parents probably should have warned their kid about the eclipse and the danger in looking at it, but I also think the school deserves some blame. What about the younger kids say 6-7 year olds did they let those kids out for recess? Just absolutely careless. They should have had indoor recess or whatever, closed the shades, and let the kids play board games instead.
