Default Calling with King high

5 handed 30-60 game. Don't think I played this hand real
well, but here goes.

UTG raises. Not quite a maniac, but overplays his hands
and pushes draws. I reraise with KJo. Not a favorite hand
of mine, but thats what I have. Both blinds call.

We take the flop four handed with 3c 6c 9c
I have the Jack of clubs.

It's checked to me and I bet. Both blinds fold. UTG
raises and I reraise.

Turn 3c 6c 9c 8s

Check, check

River 3c 6c 9c 8s 3h

My opponent bets and I call.

Results to follow

Bruce

If you are going to call a bet why did you check the turn?

My guess is he showed you some mid-sized pocket pair and dragged the pot, although since your posting this I say he had KcTx and you won.
