How people buy into high stake games - do they carry cash?
Playing solely online, I am curious how high stakes players buy into games in B&M - do they just bring like 10-100 thousand in cash to casino?

I haven't played any higher than 80/160, but I believe the high limit players take markers out with the casino.

You don't need to bring anything really. Simply wire money to the cage (call, they will give you instructions). Then draw from it at the cage and they will even wire the money back at the end of the trip (or give you a check). Regulars that play high limit in a room typically have boxes or "front money" accounts. If you were going to play 80-160 for like 4 days, you would probably need like 20k (more if you're like me and want to be overly rolled so you don't feel your collar getting tight if you lose a bunch on day 1).

Yes, I usually just bring a Brinks truck with me and tell them to go to table 5 in the High Rollers section..
