Default Stakes Differences ?

[ QUOTE ]
Welcome to the forums. If you jump into 5/10, they'll murder you. I'd suggest logging at least 10,000 hands at .50/1 using Pokertracker.com to get your leaks out of your system. After that, 10,000 at 1/2, and then on to 2/4. If you multi-table, you could be at 2/4 in 2 months. Remember, .50/1 plays like 2/4, and 1/2 plays like 3/6...generally speaking.

Hello, I read this on another thread and am not sure if it correct or not.

I am currently at .25/.50 and am looking to move up to .50/1.00 soon.

But obviously would like to understand what the differences are between :

1) .25/.50 and .50/1.00
2) .50/1.00 and 1/00/2.00

thanks.

J.

Default Re: Stakes Differences ?

Probably not much difference in those levels imo.

A good rule to follow is only move up levels if you have 300 bbs for that level, so $300 for the .50/$1 level, and be prepared to drop a level if you have a big drop in bankroll.
