Default final table,heads up hand

2k guaranteed rebuy on vc poker,$12 entry fee,126 runners, down to the last 2

this is one of the first hands that came up after the last guy got knocked out...

villain is fairly agressive, seems alright in some ways, but does things like betting 80k into a 32k pot a lot
i've been playing slightly meeker than i usually would since it got down to four handed-basically the other players were being a bit more agressive,in general i was folding to raises and staying afloat/building my stack by reraising button raises every so often, and getting respect since i've been playing tightish...i've had the best hand every time i've been all in,reraising JK with my AJ and doubling up,that kind of thing...

also i've flat called on button/cutoff and bet the flop a few times at the final table...

anyway,on to the hand...

blinds are 10k/20k
i have position and 164k,villain has 456k

i complete with J6
flop comes K62,two hearts,we both check (the hand before last i flat called and bet the flop,so i reckon if i do it again he might raise me,but if he hit a K he'd also check and wait for me to bet)

the turn is another 6,again we both check-i'm pretty sure he's going to try and steal the pot on the river if i do this, and as mentioned above,he may well overbet the pot

river is a 4,no flush possible...

villain bets 40k,i push for my remaining 100k

comments would be appreciated...

I like it. Sometimes in a situation like this, if the villain is aware of his table image(aggressive & stealing often), he may be expecting someone to fire back at him with a re-steal. If this is the case he may instantly call with any pair.

I hope he didn't have A6. And even if he did, I really think just calling here is super weak/tight. If you lose with trips in this situation, tip your cap and move on.

do you mean that you'd usually bet the flop or turn despite the reasons i gave for not doing so,or that you usually would except in this type of situation?
thanks for the feedback btw

Villian had 4/4 or 2/2 is my guess. Pot is 40k, and ill bet 30k into it and see how he responds. If you bet any less on that board you are ASKING for the raise. If he had 4/4 and you let him hit it free, thats painful. If he boated 6's or outkicked you, thats life.

I'm betting the turn here but I don't think you played it badly. He could lay down and you pick up a decent amount of chips or he may think that you were trying to steal by trying to represent the 6th, even though you have it.
