Default Gigabet starting fresh?

I was watching Gigabet (on Darrel77) the other day, and came in halfway with his discussion with one of the guys from Support.. i couldn't figure out what they were talking about, but he mentioned startging fresh and still winning the TLB. i think he was asking support to give him points for something. i dont know. But now today he's playing on Gigabet, not darrell77...

Anyone know what's going on?

if this isn't interesting to anyone else, or it's old news, my apologies.

I saw "GigaBet" playing on Stars last night as well. I wondered if it's really him or someone posing.

Well at this time yesterday, Darrel was in 3 or 4 tournaments.. and today he's not on, and Gigabet is in 3 or 4.

So i think it's really him.

Man i feel like tool gossiping about this, but .. it's like a terrible poker soap opera.

I don't know anything about this GigaBet guy, but if you search for him on thepokerdb.com, you get nothing.

Darrell77 has some pretty nice finishes, though.

From what I have heard on pocketfives.com, Gigabet has arranged with PS to play the rest of the month under his Gigabet handle. His finishes as darrell77 and Gigabet will be grouped together to come up with his top 20 for the monthly TLB (at least for the wager). I am guessing that he would have been asking PS support to do this grouping on their TLB so that his Gigabet monthly total would reflect is total play for the month. If I understand correctly, Gigabet wanted to do this for promotional reasons.

That 'Gigabet' also plays 5/10 limit on VC, so doubtful.
