2nd day soups & stews
made cioppino last night and brought some for lunch today.
lo & behold, it's noticably tastier and better today than it was yesterday! my sister said that soups generally *are* better the 2nd day... did you guys know this to be true? |

I never eat soup on the day I make it. always make it on sunday and then take it for lunch the rest of the week. lasagna is like this as well, at least in my experience.

my father will call me on a saturday night and tell me he is making stew, this always means i am invited to dinner on sunday.
