Default I hit my flush, but I\'m not sure what to do.

Opponent seemed half-decent, but he hasn't been here long, so who knows. I'm nothing great, but I'm playing tight & betting here & there, picking up small pots. I think my PF & flop play is ok (right?). However, I'm lost after that.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) converter

Button ($21.60)
SB ($14.80)
BB ($35.60)
Hero ($31.75)
MP ($24.30)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero calls $0.25, MP raises to $0.75, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.50.

Flop: ($1.85) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $1, Hero raises to $3, MP calls $2.

Turn: ($7.85) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $3, MP calls $3.

River: ($13.85) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $2.5, Hero calls $2.50.

Final Pot: $18.85

Bet at least 2/3 the pot on the turn.

Lead the flop. I usually push if raised.

Pot the turn, if he raises, push.

Block the river ($7). c/c works too.

I think you missed value on this hand.

If I lead the flop (how much?) & I'm raised, isn't there a good chance I'm behind?

PF is a little ugly. I don't like limp calling OOP with hands like this.

If you're gonna play it, come in for a raise.

Flop, I lead for close to pot, and 3 bet all in if raised.

Turn, I lead for close to pot and 3 bet all in if raised.

River, check call looks alright (against aggressive player), block against passive.

If you are raised on the flop, it IS likely that you're beaten, but you have a lot of equity in the pot. I don't feel like running the odds calculator, but you really should.

I would have raised this hand preflop. Folded to a reraise. I like the flop raise, but I bet this turn for about $6. Check-call the river is good.

Bet more on the turn, to the tune of 3/4 - pot. Call his river bet.

How is checkcalling river good? if villain bets more than half the pot here Hero has to fold right?

This is good advice.

Yes if you get raised there is a good chance you are behind...however, it's almost certainly just a better kicker than you....you have a TON of outs against any 1 pair hands that are ahead of you right now....you want to get raised...the only thing you are afraid of is a set here.
