Default Betting a loser.

PP 20/40, Full table.

I raise early with JJ. Folds to the cutoff, a tight/passive 16/8/1 sorta player, who 3bets. Folded back to me and I call.

Flop is 822, I check and call.
Turn is a king, I check and call. (not the card I was hoping to see)
River is another king.

I bet?

Default Re: Betting a loser.

Unless he has absolutely nothing, I don't see him folding to this bet. You can safely fold to a re-raise, so I don't mind leading out. You're not going to get a better hand to fold, although you will pick up an extra bet those times the villain has an under pair to your JJ.

So....yeah, why not?
