races have different strengths. why so taboo?
did you guys hear last week about the air force football coach who said blacks are faster runners? he's the latest on a long list that are geting crucified for saying so.
is it true? YES. so why can't we say true things? i suppose it's a coincidence that 4 out of 5 NBA players are black. --and it seems to me that, IN GENERAL, whites are smarter. How come in the history of chess there has only been 1 black grandmaster? (and many blacks play chess) i don't care who's good at what, i think the most qualified people should be in the relevant jobs. but to talk about this is, ohhhh, soooo evil!!! it shouldn't be! i think the people who are scared to talk of these things are the REAL prejudice people.

I have been active in antiracism work and I can somewhat agree with your statement principally. However, there is so many elements in society that abuse small differences to create an image of larger differences than really exist. Therefore the lines quickly get very blurry if you allow leeway on this subject.

I think there are merits to ideas such as this - in fact, there definitely are. However, a lot of assumptions are often made as to causality etc. that hinder debate, and I think it's healthy that society worries about getting carried away with regards to discussing race too much.
