Default PT: Where to go from here?

I just got pokertracker and have loaded in about 40k hands. Im sort of confused on what I am supposed to do now. I have lots of info now, but its so much new stuff at once that I am confused now as to how to improve my game.

Traditionally you now post something saying "How's my win rate?" and then everyone shouts at you for being results oriented.

Seriously, use the search function (yes, I know it's ugly) to have a look back at other people's stats posts and the responses. Basically your first port of call (especially if you're not winning) is to check that your major stats (VPIP, PFR, aggression factor on each postflop street, won $ seeing flop, went to showdown, won $ at showdown, and of course BB/100) are in acceptable ballparks. After that, it gets more subtle. Try to group your hand using the filter function and look at whether you're overplaying your suited connectors, for example.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. I think that I am starting to get it. I just got PlayerView to start working. VP$IP is the % of times that I see the flop not including blinds right?

Yes. Voluntarily Put $ In Pot

If you move your cursor over anything you are unsure of it will give you a little explanation in the bottom left.
