Aaron Kanter now has somewhere between $3.5 and $4 million, while Greg Raymer is crippled down to about $400,000.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wouldn't believe this quite yet. Last count had Kanter at 1.9M, Raymer at 3.8M. Raymer would have had to be down to 2.3M before the hand for this to be right. They've screwed up chip counts before, maybe he's down to 1.4M.

[/ QUOTE ]

He was losing some pots to re-raises before, and doubled someone up. 400k is probably correct.

4:50pm... Players are on a break. Raymer said he has $420K. He's not looking good. When action resumes, we'll be on Level 27. The antes are $5K and blinds are $25K and $50K.

Default RAYMER OUT!!!

5:05pm... Featured Table update: Raymer moved all in on the flop of: K-K-7 with A-9 against 5-5. The turn was another King and Raymer was still behind. The turn was a 2 and Raymer was busted.

I know. It's too bad our defending champ had to tilt out and throw his money away on what was imaginably an easily read bluff.

You gotta make a move with the blinds as high as they are that late in the game with that low of a stack when you get an A9

Except he moved in on the flop. Easy call by the pocket fives.

Dammit. Back-to-back would have been insane.

But, hey, that's poker.
