You guys are such babies. All this whining about bonuses requirements and now transfers, etc.

News flash:

The idea is to play poker! Not mouse free money from bonuses or transferring funds for cash out purposes.

What they're asking is not unreasonable. Deposit money, become a valued customer, and they'll pay you a bonus. If you want to lend a friend money so that he can play, they'll let you transfer money for that purpose.

I doubt those who whine about such things are very able poker players anyway, but it probably won't hurt the games if all you tight-assed low limit babies took your business elsewhere.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well the question is.. Is it my money or isnt it? Can I do what I want with it or cant I? Apparently I cannot..

I wanted to use that money to play at another pokersite.

Why should Party provide a service to you in order to allow you to go to their competitor? You people seem to always forget they're a fricking business, not a charity.

Then it sounds like you should have had it transfered to you by some other means..... Now you know.

Their objectives are reasonable but their methods are unethical.

Everyone that I win money from at poker made a voluntary choice to play. This is a basic rule of the game.

No gambling institution should ever insist that someone gamble as a condition for returning player funds. Any reputable regulatory agency would shut a casino down for doing that.

Of course Party doesn't have that particular problem but that's no excuse.

They should charge an appropriate fee for the transfer and allow the player to work it off like a bonus by playing raked hands. There should be some reasonable provision for tournament players.

I wonder what happens if a player busts before he plays his required hands? Are they going to lock down his next deposit?

Neteller charges Party to transfer money from them to your account. It isn't unreasonable that you would have play some before cashing out.

Actually, the way they look at it is that it's not your money, but your friend's money, that he gave you to use to play poker with on THAT site. If you play on that money, I'm sure they'll let you take it out or transferring it back to your friend.

They view transfers as a privilege. It's to be used only as a means to facilliate play on their site. Not for settling debts, laundering money, or cash-outs. Surely you can see their point. Can't you?

agree

also, props to party for being first in the bot-blocker. 2 good moves here and both will improve the float net.

What is this bot blocker? I am ant bot and would be happy knowing they take extra steps to assure a bot free environment.

there are some of us who are actually repaying / staking legitimately and this sucks for us (namely those getting large amounts of $ back). The extra hands are just a nuisance.
