Re: Home game hand quiz. What did he have?
I told him "you have to have nothing here, I think you have 87". I thought a bit more looked at him one last time and called. He had 85o.

Obviously. Otherwise you would not have posted it. . . .

[ QUOTE ]
Either pocker dueces or the 4 and 5 of clubs. [/ QUOTE ] I was thinking A2s or 2's... didn't think bluff but with the final comment... maybe. |

Re: Home game hand quiz. What did he have?
Yup. I am sure everyone will think it is a dumb call. But this guy knows EXACTLY what I have (a draw). I think he would have even checked a set of aces here, because I either was chasing KQc or I have nothing and he knows it.
What on earth can I call $13 on this board with after showing no agression? |

You put the villian on AK and still called a flop bet with no draw. Then you called a bet on the turn with no draw. It looks like you were drawing to King high the whole time and when you hit it on the river you would call. |

Re: Home game hand quiz. What did he have?
Had a K flush draw the whole time and he surely knew it after the turn. That was actually one of the things that made me call (forgot about that). I asked him what he thought I had and he said a weak ace. I knew he was full of it at that point.
Anyway, its just one of those situations that will never happen again. I consider the SB player to be the same caliber player but I would never make this call vs him because he is just not capable of that bluff. UTG is and I have seen him do it in a live 2-5 NL game. He bluff raised the river all in with 6 high and made a guy lay down 2 pair to win a $600 pot. |

Re: Home game hand quiz. What did he have?
I'm surprised you didn't check-raise the turn, if not the flop.
He didn't play very well, either, but at least he was aggessive about it. Bad all-in at the end |
