Dealing in the UK

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question but... meh, someone will probably have some good info.

I'm curious if anyone has any info/experience on what it takes to become a dealer in Europe. I know there's tons of poker but I have no idea how different it is and how much my experience in the States would count. Would going to a school over there be expected or could I just learn the differences on the fly? I've dealt in a major card room in both CA and Vegas, FWIW. Any help is much appreciated.
