Default Good 1/2 hourly winrate??

Ive been playing 1/2 ($200 max) NL on partypoker for about 60k hands (166 hours) and am currently maintaining a winrate of $57/hr. I feel like I could be doing better than this...but i was curious if this is decent for this level.

$57/hour is pretty vague since you don't say how many tables you're playing. Try giving that figure in $$/100 hands.

Well, since he played 60K hands in 166 hours that would be about 360 hands per hour. If he is making $57/hour that works out to about $15.83/100 hands. ptbb @ 1/2 ($200 max) NL is $4, you are making 3.95ptbb/100 hands. I would say this is very respectable, especially considering you are playing at least 4 tables it seems like. Keep up the good results!

I thought that 7-8 ptbb/100 was the goal for good players.

Is it because he plays 6. max ??

This has to be either impossible or impossible to maintain. Or I need to be sitting at your tables. Either or.

7-8 pttbb/100 certainly can be the goal, but 3-4 is very respectable, especially when multi-tabling. Maybe single-tabling where reads can be more accurately made and playing style tracked better 7-8 is a good goal, but for 4+ multi-tabling, these numbers are very good. I personally play 6-8 tables and am at about 2.5ptbb/100.

However, any positive win-rate is better than a losing player!

yes sorry...i am multitabling betweem 4-6 6max tables...i went on a run of running $150/hr for the first 15k hands or so...which is why i was disappointed with it slowing down to 57/hr. I guess i was just running really really good.

It's pretty good. When I was playing NL25 I thought I'd make 10ptbb/100 forever, but now at NL100 I'm aiming for a longterm of 6, so at NL200 I'd be very happy with your hourly rate.

4PTBB at NL $200 is fine (equivalent of 8PTBB @NL $100 and 16 PTBB @ NL$50 and a whopping 32 PTBB at NL $25). Could you do better, sure, but many are doing far worse and still making money.

Off topic ---- You only need to win at half your present rate in order to profitable move up levels (provided you have a sufficient bankroll).
