Default Fantasy QB question

R. Grossman or P. Manning

Grossman sucks but he's up against Green Bay's defense, even if it is at Green Bay. And Manning surely won't play the whole game. Is P. Manning likely to do more in a half than Grossman in a whole game? Thoughts?

It's too early to decide these kinds of questions. As a genereal rule, wait until Thursday/Friday practices.

At this point, I'd side with Manning.

I actually just read that he's got swelling in his knee. I would be sure to monitor his health in the coming days.

Dungy has already said that Sorgi will see significant time.

Yeesh...not an enviable position. I guess if Peyton's 100% by Thursday, then start him. Either QB could get pulled in the middle of the game if something's not going right. GL

I don't really see how this is close. There is way too much guesswork involved to play any Colts' players. Manning plays 1-2 series at worst or 1-2 quarters at best.

OP-

There may also be a QB on waivers who's even better for this week.

Huh? Peyton is definitely 100% healthy.

Grossman against the hapless Packers is probably a safer play. Did you see how the Packers made Boller look liek an All-Pro last night?
