Last Surviving Beatle - Proposition Bet
A friend of mine proposed a proposition bet on who would be the last surviving Beatle.
Paul McCartney is 63. Ringo Starr is 65. At even money would you just go with the younger Paul? Are there other factors that you would consider that could sway you to pick Ringo? Is even money a fair line? |

Re: Last Surviving Beatle - Proposition Bet
How much money is on the line here??
Basically what I'm asking is, Should Ringo or Paul hire extra bodyguards when they make public appearances? |

Re: Last Surviving Beatle - Proposition Bet
The wager is only $1,000. The bet is void if either one of us murders or arranges for the murder of either.

Re: Last Surviving Beatle - Proposition Bet
Alright then.. Few things to consider.. Paul McCartney is a Vegan. There's some research that says Vegan/Vegetarians have a longer life expectancy. Ringo Starr had his appendix removed at age 6 and had stomach problems in the 1970s that led to part of his intestine being removed in 1979. McCartney has had no serious health problems that I'm aware of (or could find). With 2 years in hand, McCartney seems like a fairly good bet to me. |

But I'd still bet on Paul. The fair bet would be something like Ringo + 4 years. -ptmusic |

Re: Last Surviving Beatle - Proposition Bet
I think Ringo is the way to go - and try to get odds for taking the older one.
