Folding a full house
.25/.50 NLHE on Stars.
Limp in on the button with 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 other players. Flop is J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. First player bets $1, second player calls, I raise to $4. Both call. Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. First player bets $3 this time, second player calls, I raise to $12. Both call again. River: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (crap). First player immediately goes all-in for about $30. Second calls. I fold my boat, fearing a J....First player turns over A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and takes down the pot with a flush. Grrr.... Can I do anything but fold here? |

Re: Folding a full house
Don't let the results get to you. It was a good fold.

That is puzzling what the second player would call with...
Turn is an inst-all in for me.

Re: That is puzzling what the second player would call with...
You're probably right that not going all-in on the turn was my biggest mistake. BTW, the other player had pocket queens...I guess he felt like he was already too pot-committed to lay them down...that's why I play these games.
