Prior to the event I'd guess no but as you posted it I'll guess yes.

No, 99x is alt rock.

This is a sports AM station.

In other words, stop cheating by trying to type "fat" and "atlanta radio station" into google, because I know there's an intern at 99x named Fat Kid. Different guy.

I said no. I used to run the 100m back in high school and my best time was 12.5 seconds. I was fast and in condition then. I doubt any workout regimen will properly prepare a 405 pound man to run the 100m in 22 seconds. It's too much weight to propel over too great a distance.

Maybe if they put a donut at the finish line...

22 second 100m is like slightly under a 6 minute mile, which is a pretty strenuous jog. I don't know if any of you watched the biggest loser, but this guy is pretty close to Mo size, so I'm saying no by a long shot.

Case,

12 seconds?? 40 meters?? Are you sure you have that right?? I think I could bear crawl and clock a 40 time better than 12 seconds.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I remember feeling very, very bad for the guy. I bet you could bear crawl a 40m dash in 12 seconds. I don't think it would be that hard.

I am betting that there was no running involved whatsoever. At best, a man this fat's top speed could only be light jogging, and even then the blubber on his legs would be rubbing together at such a pace that it may start a fire. There is no way he beat 22 seconds.

Sports AM? 750?

It's the only sports station in Atlanta. That other one sucks.

I doubt it. I remember back in highschool ~300 pound football player was barely able to run the 40 meter dash in 12 seconds. Add 100 pounds and 60 meters and 22 seconds seems like an impossibility.

[/ QUOTE ]

The slowest kid on every HS football team in America could fall down twice and still complete the 40 in under 12 seconds.
