Decided to play some 1/2 NL tonight with sthief09. I flopped quads, 2 sets, TPTK and more and ended up stuck a buy-in.

I rule.

Haha, yea that's what usually happens to me when I play NL. I just can't take it seriously, it doesn't seem like a real game.

the first time i ever played nl it was a 1-2 game with 1k stacks. i won 3k and realized i was one of the best ever.

Duh. Everyone knows that. What about when a donkey bets the pot into your TPTK and another donk on the turn when the bottom card pairs?

strategy tip: when these things happen, try to play big pots [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]. a key strategic adjustment you should make is to make sure your opponents flop things like bottom set. I'm sure you were concentrating hard, but try adjusting the aluminum helmet and staying focused on chanting, you probably were just a hand or two off.

"re-pot!" is about my favorite live poker expression.

use discretion when saying it against donkeys with only tptk, though.
