you know how much a place costs here? big bux.

i have about $60,000 in freed up cash. not enough. need a loan but that's tough to get w/ no job.

also, i play about 5 hours/week of poker. i'm sure i could make $10K/month 100%. i just think poker is boring.

[/ QUOTE ]

You looking to buy a 600K pad or something? 60K will get you a down payment easily enough. AS for not having a job, as long as your credit isnt [censored] up, all you have to do is get a stated income loan.

So play poker for more than 5 hours a week. Jesus, play hard for a month or two and youd easily have the cash. Its gotta be hella better than living with ure rents.

And since you arent playing poker or working a real job, how are you going to move out anytime in the foreseable future?

stated income loan? do you pay way more interest? i gotta go chat w/ a real estate agent i guess. i've never heard of such a thing though. i've definitely heard of people having trouble getting a loan because of shaky work, like even if they have a job, they haven't been there long enough or this or that.

Dude. WTF are you waiting for. Get a job, or go back to school. This isn't a tough choice.

You have an undergrad degree, right?

Not trolling you here, just seems like an easily solveable problem.

Play your ass for like 2-3 months, and you could probably buy a place outright at a foreclosure sale.

I agree with you guys. I keep telling Daryn he's lazy. Daryn you want to move out so suck it up and play some poker so you can buy a place, I think it is pretty simple.
