Default 88 vs push, Do I call this?

No reads, this is a $6.50 turbo on Stars which I think is very relevant and means a ton. I think Im pot commited at this point and maybe shoulda just pushed the guy instead of reraising only some.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (9 handed) converter

MP3 (t1442)
CO (t1345)
Hero (t2110)
SB (t1303)
BB (t1680)
UTG (t1085)
UTG+1 (t1935)
MP1 (t1290)
MP2 (t1310)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP2 calls t50, MP3 calls t50, 1 fold, Hero calls t50, 1 fold, BB checks.

Flop: (t225) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, MP2 bets t150, MP3 calls t150, Hero raises to t650, BB folds, MP2 raises to t1260, MP3 folds, Hero calls t610.

Turn: (t2895) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t2895) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t2895

Well, you can't fold after raising to t650, so pushing is good here, I think.

I think this is clear push/fold spot, and yeah, pushing seems better.

As always, I may be wrong -- please correct me if so.

First, I would probably raise on the button with 88 and two limpers in the pot (70 percent/30 percent call). It's turbo (which I also think is VERY relevant) and you've almost certainly got the best hand preflop, so you can chase those two who are probably just hoping to hit any two face cards or make them pay to hit the flop. With 150 in the pot, I'd raise it to 250. That way they would have to call another 200 and you'd be in position the rest of the way. If one of them comes over the top of you, then you know one of them has a hand but you won't commit yourself so deeply after the flop without any clue. That's how I'd use the button my advantage.

Post-flop. Well, what do you put your opponent on here? Since he limped it could anything. Having no idea what to make of his raise, I think you played it well post-flop IMHO. A reraise over the size of the pot and then you've got to call his reraise because you have committed yourself to the pot. Your getting about 3 to 1 odds on the call.

I'm guessing he had a higher pocket pair then yours?
