You're probably right.

Let's say before there's a $200 super on Stars that awards a seat for each $12,500 in the prize pool. With an extra week of hotel costs, then Stars awards a package only for every $13,500 in the pool. The number of seats awarded goes down by 2/27ths. Assuming, of course, there are the same number of satellites.
