Default “Atlantic” 18 player SnG on Stars at 8 pm EST

Come have fun with your fellow 2+2ers. The more the merrier.

"Atlantic" 2+2 SNG $10+1 18 player NLHE on STARS 8:00PM EST WEDNESDAY MAR 16.
Look for codewarrior or Toro85(Toro) signon.

If there are only a few players signed up at 8 pm, the starters will probably go ahead and sit, so keep your eyes peeled.

Now for the standard disclaimer (I love this kind of lawyer stuff ): Games for 2+2 posters. Not sponsored by Two Plus Two Publishing.

I was glad to play again after some time away. Took a minor beat early on with QQ vs. AQ & TT but what can you do. I wasn't sure about at least 3 plays I made:
1, Toro moves in for 435 in CO+1, folded to me with 950 in the SB, I fold TT
2, bubble, folded to me in SB with 4xbb, I fold T9o to the huge stack in BB,
3, bubble, folded to me on Button with 2xbb, I fold K3o to huge stack in SB and Dr.'s short stack in the BB (about 3xbb after posting I think).

Thanks to the organizers! I hope to play again soon.

Ilya,
I see you are now a poobah. Congrats.

To your q's:

1. Toro doesn't bluff much, most of the time when he bets he has the goods, but he was on a pretty short stack. I would read his bet as two hollywoods, any pair, or maybe Axs. The only hands he has that totally dominate you are JJ, QQ, KK, AA. 24 possible hands. If he can be holding AK, KQ, or a pair smaller than Ts, that is 80 possible hands without considering other possibilities. I call his push.

2. I don't remember how many players in this hand. Your 4xbb is pretty short, but T9o isn't much of a hand. Given enough time (half doz players left?), I would fold and try to catch something with a Ax, Kx, two faces, or any pair to push with. If there are 3 players left, a push with the T9o would be right.

3. With 2xbb left and a king, I push.

I guarantee somebody will argue with each of the above, (and possibly be right!)

Glad to see you back.

Doc

Good read Doc. I had A5s but was short stacked and pushed. I think that's an easy call with TT.
