Default Suggestion for David / Mason / Mat, whoever

Not sure where this post belongs so I put it here.

When reading a post, I often hit the "Flat" button, so that many threads within a post will all show up on the same screen, and I can just read as I scroll down.

Of the people who use this option, I don't know anyone who wants to only view a few of the threads. Every time I use this option, I immediately scroll down and select the "ALL" option, which shows all posts rather than breaking the post down into 3 or 30 different pages.

"FLAT" should show all posts for that thread on the same screen.

At least I would appreciate if we could make that change, and I bet others would as well.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but you can just click on the "all" link before you click on the thread topic. This then displays, you guessed it, all of the posts in the thread.

Alternatively, you can click on the username of the person who last posted to the thread and it will take you to the bottom of the thread.

Go to "My Home", then "Display preferences" or click this link:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/editdisplay.php?Cat=

Find this setting:

Total posts to show on one page when viewing a post in flat mode (default is 10)

Change it to 99, which is the max.
