i open in EP w/ KsKh. loose/bad LP coldcalls (he is a coldcalling machine for 2 bets). sb who is semitight extremely passive 50something nit threebets, and now bb (sb's buddy, similar plyr description applicable) caps it up (wow)... every1 calls (duh).

flop come 9d7d5s
sb check, bb bets, i call, so does every1 else.

turn is the 8d (jesus.)
check, bb's effing hand was hovering across the imaginary line w/ a stack of chips b4 it was on him... he bets, i raise, foldfodl, bb calls no hesistation whatsoever.

river 3c
check, i actually pause to think (i rarely do this in LHE games), the bb has the calling chips in his hand outstretched in front of him. i check it down.

i dont see why youd want to wait until the turn to raise. id raise the flop. river is a very good check imo.

When they do the insta-call thing my experience is it is always aces. Combine that with the preflop and your reads and I think betting would be insane. I think folding somewhere has to be considered.

check behind on the river seems good since his hand range seems like AA, KK, QQ or *maybe* AK. you said extremely passive so even that range might be too wide(?). i am not 100% clear on the intention of the turn bet unless the range is this wide though.

also, depending on the level of passivity (i.e. would never cap with anything but AA) i think you can find a turn fold.

he has grey hair and earlier he openlimped in the CO w/ AT.

he is v passive and honest postflop.
